Tendeza Wedding Video | Colette & Angelo

Colette & Angelo were married in Philadelphia this past fall. Their ceremony was at at the family church in South Philly followed by a jumping reception at Cescaphe Event Group's Tendenza.  A couple of our favorite wedding pros were also involved with this wedding from photographer Jenn Childress to planners Proud to Plan.  This clip is a teaser trailer from Colette & Angelo's day.  Congratulation you two!

A Thank You note from a recent couple!

We just received the most wonderful thank you note from one of our recnt couples, Sara & Nick!  Thank you so much you guys!  Sara's note is below and is followed by a section of their wedding video. Our couples are THE BEST! Thanks so much for your kind words Sara.

Hey Pete,

I want to say we LOVED the DVD. We stayed up until 3 am to watch it the night we got home from vacation. We laughed hard and we cried. It is perfect. Thank you for being un-obstructive and there for every second that counted. You truly captured moments I didn't even remember until I saw them/ We felt like we had a friend between you an Eric, not "vendors" with us.  I was ready to cut videographer out of my budget.  I am so thankful my dad told me it would be insane to do so because I now agree. Thank you for giving us something we cannot quantify.

Philadelphia Wedding Video | Sara & Nick's Pre-Ceremony

Sara & Nick held their wedding in Chestnut Hill at The Church of St. Martin in the Fields. This was the first time we had been to this gorgeous church. In fact Sara & Nick's wedding was one of several first for us at First Floor Films. I believe this was the first time we had shot a wedding video at The Downtown Club in Philadelphia as well as one of the first times we had stopped along the way to the reception for 40 oz bottles of malt liquor. Sara can tell you all about that though. It was quite a day! 

We were also fortunate enough to be working alongside of one of Philadelphia's legendary photojournalists, Eric Mencher.  It was a pleasure to get to know you a bit Eric.  We look forward to working with you again soon.

Amy & Brandon | Pre-Ceremony at The Brick Hotel in Newtown

Amy & Brandon were married at the beautiful Newtown Presbyterian Church in Newtown, PA and they held their wedding reception down the road a bit at the Washington Crossing Inn. It was a fantastic late spring day and the weather was just gorgeous for all the photos and their outdoor garden cocktail hour. This clip is from the pre-ceremony section of their video where Amy and her girls were getting prepared for the day at The Brick Hotel in Newtown, PA. Congratulations to you one more time, Amy & Brandon. Your wedding video is on it's way! Enjoy this pre-ceremony clip.

Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies Crashes a Wedding

This past Friday First Floor Films was shooting Kim & Micah's wedding at The Waterworks Restaurant in Philadelphia. Kim, Micah and their families are huge Phillies fans. Excitement is definitely in the air this week for both families as Kim & Micah were getting married AND the Phillies just won their 2nd consecutive National League Championship! Kim had made up a "fake" place-card for some of her favorite, famous Philadelphians as if they were attending her wedding. Well.....one of the place-cards had Mr. Ryan Howard's name on it. And he actually showed up!!! Channel 6 Action News contacted me last night to get a copy of some of the raw footage from Ryan Howard's appearance and Kim & Micha's wedding. They aired the story this morning on the 6 AM broadcast. Check it out below. Congratulations to the newlyweds, Kim & Micah! And of course, GO PHILLIES!!!!! (Shooting credit goes out to my dad Andy on this. Thanks for being on top of this and capturing this great moment for Kim & Micha, Dad!)

Coming Soon Jolee & Zareh | The Atrium at The Curtis Center

We had the privilege of being a part of Jolee & Zareh's very moving Armenian ceremony, the first that we had ever taken part in. We followed the ceremony up with a wedding reception at Chescaphe's Atrium at The Curtis Center. It was a party and a half. Such a nice night to have a wedding reception in downtown Philadelphia. This was also one of the many weddings (including our own) that we spent side by side with Dollface Studios. Congratulations Jole & Zareh. Enjoy your coming soon trailer. Lots more is on the way.

Married | Alicia & Jeff

Alicia & Jeff were married in Downtown Philadelphia in The Atrium at The Curtis Center. The following clip is the "Super-8 Style" photo session we shot wile spending some time with the ladies of Dollface Studios taking photos around Washington Square Park and Independence Park before heading back to The Curtis Center for their wedding ceremony and reception. Congratulations to Alicia & Jeff.

Ashley & Matt held their wedding and reception at Appleford on Philadelphia's Main Line. Their outdoor ceremony was very beautiful and very unique as Ashley & Matt each wrote their own vows.
