Ending Highlights | Katie & Pete

Katie & Pete were married last fall shortly after they moved to the Philadelphia area after several years in Boston. I think there was a hurricane on the day they held their wedding because it rained ALL DAY LONG. Of course this didn't stop Katie, Pete and their friends & families from having a blast. Highlights | Katie & Tim

Katie & Tim invited us to their wedding. As in, they actually sent us an invitation! That was a first. So, I felt even more welcomed at their wedding than usual. After all, I was on the guest list! Katie & Tim had a beautiful ceremony at a church close to their home in New Jersey, with a wild reception at The Merion in Cinnaminson. The ladies of Dollface Studio were also on the guest list that day as Katie & Tim's "invited" photographers.

I love the song choice! I love the emotion captured! I love that you got all the "old' people! I love the kids!!!  I love when my cousin forgot to meet her escort at the end of the church isle (so funny)!!  I love how it takes you back to the day that took so long to plan and meant so much but flew by before we knew it and now all we have are these memories!!!  Makes me think about how much I love my husband.

Lauren & Anthony's Cape May Wedding | Congress Hall

Dawn and I met with Lauren & Anthony last summer to discuss the plans for their wedding at Cape May, New Jersey's Congress Hall. We instantly liked them both and we knew their wedding would be special. I felt as though I knew them very well before their wedding day arrived and once it did, we all had a great time together. Their video turned out so well because Lauren & Anthony are such a great couple. All I had to do was turn the cameras on and capture the friendship and love between these two that was just so evident all day long. Everyone involved in this day including photographer Kamila Harris and myself just kept commenting on how this was "the best day ever". The weather was phenomenal, the wedding was beautiful and Lauren married Anthony. Congratulations, yet again to you both. Lots of love from First Floor Films.

Jane & Patrick | Highlights

Jane & Patrick were married last spring at The Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, California. Dawn and I flew out for the first of many 2008 west coast weddings. This was Dawn's first trip to beautiful and perpetually warm Southern Cal!
Jane and Patrick celebrated their wedding day on a stunningly beautiful, cloudless and HOT day. The ceremony was held right next to the million dollar yachts on Balboa Bay which made for a serene setting, with one exception. Right as the processional began a yacht with loud, bumpin' beats and half naked revelers floated on by. This would have been quite distracting if it weren't for Jane and Patrick's laid back style. They were obviously so happy to be getting married that nothing could take their attention off one another.

Back to SF...Out of the Office

This summer has been absolutely non-stop, Go-Go-Go!  Weddings almost every weekend, engagement shoots, our own wedding, a honeymoon in Costa Rica....and now back to back to back weddings in San Francisco! 

We will be out of the office and in San Francisco from Thursday-Tuesday.  We've got a Friday wedding at my favorite church in the county, St. Peter & Paul's in North Beach, a Berkeley Botanical Gardens wedding on Saturday and then on Sunday we return to Thomas Fogarty Winerey for our final wedding of the weekend.  Phew!

So, while we're gone, please enjoy a clip from one of our Fall 2007 San Francisco weddings.  Azita & Carlos had a very beautiful and emotion filled wedding ceremony at The Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.  This is the ceremony segment from their highlight reel.  I love the way that you can just feel how proud Azita's father is of both her and his soon to be son-in-law.

In a word.....FUN!

Kelly and Alan's green wedding wedding last October at Wildwood Acres Resort in Lafayette, CA. was simply Fun, Fun and more Fun! We had such a great time shooting that day and I honestly have caught myself smiling and laughing over and over again while editing their video. From the "English Gentlemen" in the morning, to their reception entrance on scooter, to the choreographed wedding party dances....everything was just well......FUN!

I am still putting the finishing touches on their final video but, I was too excited to share something from this one. The following clip is the "Ending Highlights" section of their main DVD. I think Kelly & Alan's entire wedding video may be up here soon....it is just too good to be missed!

Tricia & Jonathan's Highlight Reel

OK. This is a big post with lots to see.  Here's how it works......

These 5 clips collectively create Tricia & Jonathan's highlight reel.  The highlight reel runs about 15 mnutes long.  But, each section has been posted separately so as not to have an enormous file to view all at once. 

If you would like to view the highlight reel in order, start at the top and work your way down.  Or, you can choose to watch a clip out of sequence from the previous clip.  It's really up to you.  I just want you to enjoy viewing the video!

We Incorporated some Super 8 film during their photo shoot with John Griffin to give their final video a cool vintage look.  Jonathan loved the way the Super 8 film turned out!

Annalyn & Ron's Ceremony Highlight

Annalyn and Ron were married in San Franciso almost 2 years ago! Wow...time flies.  They had the most beautiful ceremony at The National Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco.  We all had a blast with their photography team too.  The ladies of Gertrude & Mabel Photography were a lot of fun to work with. And I know that Annalyn was ecstatic about the job they did on her wedding photos.  I think she showed me the ENTIRE set one evening!
