A super busy week has kept me from posting recently. But, I really wanted to get something up about Kelly & Alan's green wedding at Wildwood Acres Resort in Lafayette, CA. Kelly & Alan hired Corina Beczner and her comapny Vibrant Events to help them plan their wedding with the best local, organic, socially sustainable, and stylish solutions available.
For example, All of the food served during the reception at Wildwood was locally grown and certified organic. The beverage cups were recycled by the staff all night long. Cloth instead of paper towels in the bathrooms. Kelly even bought her wedding dress used!
Now, this wedding was one for the ages....really. I always enjoy myself at our weddings. Afterall, everyone is there to have a good time right? But this one was above and beyond! If there were any doors at Wildwood they would have been blown off....way off. I hope to post a clip of their wedding soon, In the meantime, let me give you just a few of the details to come......Alan & Kelly arrive to the reception via scooter, not one, not two, but THREE choreographed dances, 52 pies instead of one measly wedding cake....and that's just the tip of the iceberg...which would of course be made of glacial spring water (green wedding remember?)

Kelly & Alan flew Andrew Van Gundy in from Santa Barbera to photograph the day. Thank you Andrew, for providing me just a few of your incredible photos. Andrew had a slideshow ready to show at the reception just about one hour after the ceremony was over! Kelly and Alan's guests were impressed to say the least.
This whole day was truly unique and I am very honored that I was there to capture all the excitement. Thank you for having us Mr. & Mrs. Puccinelli. And Congratulations to you both!
