Valentine & Jonathan being life long New Yorkers, naturally held their wedding and reception in New York City. It was a rainy day in Manhattan. But none of that mattered as everything was held inside the rich and swanky digs at The University Club. Valentine had me cracking up during her pre-ceremony preparations. She was cracking jokes left and right and you can really see evidence of that in her video. I had the pleasure of re-living all of her jokes and stories as I edited the video and I was laughing all over again while working at my computer!
Congratulations Valentine & Jonathan. Enjoy your highlights. The DVDs are on their way!
Katie & Tim invited us to their wedding. As in, they actually sent us an invitation! That was a first. So, I felt even more welcomed at their wedding than usual. After all, I was on the guest list! Katie & Tim had a beautiful ceremony at a church close to their home in New Jersey, with a wild reception at The Merion in Cinnaminson. The ladies of Dollface Studio were also on the guest list that day as Katie & Tim's "invited" photographers.
Congratulations Katie & Tim! Enjoy your highlights. The DVDs are on their way!
Edit 7/17/09:
I just got this e-mail from Katie this morning. This is why I love my clients and it is true testimonial to why it is so important to have video for your wedding.
YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!! I love the song choice! I love the emotion captured! I love that you got all the "old' people! I love the kids!!! I love when my cousin forgot to meet her escort at the end of the church isle (so funny)!! I love how it takes you back to the day that took so long to plan and meant so much but flew by before we knew it and now all we have are these memories!!! Makes me think about how much I love my husband.
Dawn and I met with Lauren & Anthony last summer to discuss the plans for their wedding at Cape May, New Jersey's Congress Hall. We instantly liked them both and we knew their wedding would be special. I felt as though I knew them very well before their wedding day arrived and once it did, we all had a great time together. Their video turned out so well because Lauren & Anthony are such a great couple. All I had to do was turn the cameras on and capture the friendship and love between these two that was just so evident all day long. Everyone involved in this day including photographer Kamila Harris and myself just kept commenting on how this was "the best day ever". The weather was phenomenal, the wedding was beautiful and Lauren married Anthony. Congratulations, yet again to you both. Lots of love from First Floor Films.
The 1st clip is the "pre-ceremony" section of their wedding video. The 2nd clip is the "ending highlights" section of their wedding video.
This Sunday will be Dawn & my 1st wedding anniversary! I just wanted to share a few short videos that I put together over the last year. Some of you may have seen these clips already. The first one is the "Coming Soon" trailer for our wedding video that......I will......eventualy......get around to editing. :0 Dawn has been very patient with me on the video editing front, and as of now these short clips are all that I have gotten finished. I promise it's "coming soon" as the trailer says, as long as you keep in mind that "soon" is relative.
Happy Anniversary Dawn. I love you always. "217"
